STORY
MIAOLI's GOLD & GREEN
Miaoli sits in Taiwan's rolling hill country, where mountains outnumber plains and the land is rich with greenery and a cultural landscape all its own. Chosen Tea takes its colors from this scenery: gold for the hills and the mining boom they once carried, and a bright grass green for the forests and the fine tea we blend.
Chosen Tea carries on the spirit and sincerity of Miaoli's Hakka Si Cha tea tradition. We brew with Taiwan-grown oolong and green teas alongside select fine teas, pairing them with local ingredients in their true, whole form, so that every sip is a flavor worth remembering.

THE GOLD AND GREEN OF MIAOLI’S HILLS
Chosen, from the hills of Miaoli.
A TEA BRAND NAMED AFTER MIAOLI’S HILL COUNTRY
Miaoli lies in Taiwan’s hill country, where mountains outnumber plains. Lush vegetation runs from the coast to the wooded hills, woven into a cultural landscape that makes the region unforgettable. Chosen Tea is a portrait of this scenery: gold for the hills and the mining industry that once thrived here, and a bright grass green for the forests and the fine tea blended by Chosen Tea.
CARRYING ON THE UNYIELDING SPIRIT OF HAKKA SI CHA
Miaoli is a beautiful, warm-hearted mountain town where guests always come first and hospitality is heartfelt. Chosen Tea inherits the unyielding spirit and sincerity of the Hakka Si Cha tradition, whose name means “to drink tea”. We brew local Oriental Beauty tea and select fine teas, combined with local, true-to-origin whole ingredients, so every sip is unforgettable.
Our signature HEAVY MILK JADE has won the 2026 Taipei International Bubble Tea Festival Championship, the Fresh Milk Beverage Gold at the 2025 Taiwan Fresh Milk Hotpot and Beverage Contest, and the national championship at the 2025 National Creative Tea Beverage Contest with its next-generation milk cap creation. 🏆
THE MEANING OF “CHOSEN”: FROM HERE TO THE WORLD
In English, “the chosen one” means someone destined for greatness. Chosen Tea means exactly that: heaven’s chosen tea, born here in Miaoli. In 2024 we began expanding overseas, and we welcome you to carry these flavors to the world. Join us in creating the renaissance of premium bubble tea.
